Support Worker - Ridgewood House

Pay: £12.21 Per Hour
Hours: 37.5 hours a week

We are seeking a caring and dedicated Support Worker to join our team.
Ridgewood House is a 12-bedroom supported living care home, located towards the outskirts of Camborne town centre and within easy reach of amenities. The property provides plenty of communal space, encouraging each individual to regain their independence without isolation.
What You’ll be Doing
Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
Provide emotional support and companionship.
Assisting with mobility and physical exercises tailored to residents' needs.
Engaging residents in meaningful social activities and promoting a positive environment.
Communicating effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
What You’ll Need
Minimum 2 + years’ experience as a Care Assistant in for younger adults with Physical disabilities
Compassionate, patient, and understanding of patients needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Minimum of NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care
Must be Moving & Handling Trained.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
