Hours: 40 hours per week / Monday – Sunday

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our nights team. Our is a dedicated 30-bedded nursing home specialising in the care of younger adults with physical disabilities and respite care. We are committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care in a supportive and inclusive environment.
At Douglas House, we specialise in supporting people who have varying needs as a result of physical and long-term neurological conditions, including cancer care, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, epilepsy, brain injury, Huntington’s disease, motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, Parkinson’s disease, spina bifida & hydrocephalus, and stroke.
What You’ll be Doing
Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents during night shifts
Administer medications and treatments
Monitor and assess residents' health and well-being
Develop and implement individualized care plans
Collaborate with families and care professionals to provide the best care.
Maintain accurate care and documentation
Support residents in achieving their personal health goals
What You'll Need
NMC Registered Nurse Pin
Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in a similar role.
Strong understanding of physical disabilities, respite care, and younger adults
Qualifications and experience in Peg Feeding & Catheterisation
Trained in Epilepsy Awareness & Medication Management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge in CQC regulations. and Safety Standards
