Southleigh Community hospital is a 27-bedded Hospital, specialises in individuals with complex mental health difficulties or stepping down from secure or acute settings.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Kitchen Assistant to join our team!
What You’ll be Doing
Assist in the preparation and serving of meals
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas
Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
Help with inventory management and stock rotation
Follow food safety and hygiene standards
Support the Chef and kitchen staff as needed
What You'll Need
Proven experience as a Kitchen Assistant, preferably in a care home or similar setting
Strong knowledge of dietary needs and restrictions
Food Hygiene Level 2 is essential
Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
