We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Kitchen Assistant to join our team!
At Elizabeth House we offer services for the treatment of mental and emotional disorders through the provision of medical, psychological and nursing interventions supported by other members of the multi-disciplinary team which are designed to encourage communication of conflicts and insight into problems, with the goal being relief of symptoms, changes in behaviour leading to improved social and vocational functioning and personal growth.
What You’ll be Doing
Assist in the preparation and serving of meals
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas
Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
Help with inventory management and stock rotation
Follow food safety and hygiene standards
Support the Chef and kitchen staff as needed
What You'll Need
Proven experience as a Kitchen Assistant, preferably in a care home or similar setting
Strong knowledge of dietary needs and restrictions
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Great communication skills
