Hours: 33.75 hours a week / Alternate Weekends

We are seeking a caring and dedicated Support Worker to join our team.
White Windows is operated by Valorum Care Limited and provides accommodation and support for up to 25 residents with conditions such as cerebral palsy, acquired brain injury, stroke, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, spina bifida, hydrocephalus, Parkinson’s, and Huntington’s diseases. The home is wheelchair accessible, with tracking hoist systems in all rooms, lifts between floors, and three accessible vehicles for community outings
What You’ll be Doing
Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
Provide emotional support and companionship.
Assisting with mobility and physical exercises tailored to residents' needs.
Engaging residents in meaningful social activities and promoting a positive environment.
Communicating effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
What You’ll Need
Minimum 2 + years’ experience as a Care Assistant in for younger adults with Physical disabilities
Compassionate, patient, and understanding of patients needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Minimum of NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care
Must be Moving & Handling Trained.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
