We are looking for a Registered Manager with experience in the Mental Health sector to join our innovative team at Valorum Care Group!

This is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of a  team in a specialist residential service, while leading on complex assessments, designing bespoke care packages, and shaping the future of community-based mental health care.

 

What You’ll be Doing

  • Leadership: Lead, motivate and develop a dedicated care team.

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the home meets the Government and CQC- equivalent standards.

  • Financial Management: Manage budgets and resources to contribute to the home’s financial sustainability.

  • Create strong relationships with residents, families and care professionals

  • Promote a warm, positive and inclusive environment

 

What You’ll Need

  • Recognised Professional Qualification in Social Work (DipSW/CQSW), Mental Health Nursing (RMN), Psychology or any allied medical profession preferred but not essential.

  • At least  2+ years’ experience as a Registered Manager in a care or nursing home.

  • Registered with CQC – Preferable but not essential.

  • Experience with Mental Health & Challenging Behaviour

  • Strong Knowledge and confidence in CQC regulations, Safeguarding and quality standards.

  • Excellent leadership, organisation and communication skills.
