John Masefield House is 22-bed independent Dementia Nursing and Residential that specialises in the care for Physical Disabilities.
We are seeking a reliable Kitchen Assistant to join the team!
What You’ll be Doing
Assist in the preparation and serving of meals
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas
Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
Help with inventory management and stock rotation
Follow food safety and hygiene standards
Support the Chef and kitchen staff as needed
What You'll Need
Proven experience as a Kitchen Assistant, preferably in a care home or similar setting
Strong knowledge of dietary needs and restrictions
Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Great communication skills
Commitment to providing high-quality service
