Location: Sheffield S17 4HE

Pay: £12.21 Per Hour

Hours: 20 hours per week / Monday – Sunday

Job Type: Part Time, Permanent

Mickley Hall is a 39 bedded nursing home that specialises in the care for individuals with physical disabilities and neurological conditions.

We are seeking a Warm and enthusiastic Activities coordinator to join the team!

What You’ll be Doing

  • Design and organize a wide range of activities and events for residents.

  • Promote a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the care home.

  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure activities are well-coordinated and integrated into daily routines.

  • Encourage residents to participate and engage in activities.

  • Customize activities to suit the individual needs and preferences of residents.

  • Maintain accurate records of resident participation and feedback.

  • Ensure all activities adhere to health and safety regulations.

 

What You’ll Need

  • Minimum of 1 year  experience in a similar role within a care home or related setting.

  • Previous experience working with Dementia, Mental Health, physical disability.

  • Compassionate and patient, with a genuine interest in enhancing the lives of residents.

  • Strong organizational and planning abilities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Creativity and enthusiasm for developing engaging activities.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
