Pay: £12.21 Per Hour

Hours: 40 Hours a week / Monday - Friday (8:30am – 5pm)

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

 

Southern Hill Hospital is a 53-bedded facility specializing in acute mental health care. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Receptionist to join our team!

 

What You’ll be Doing   

  • Greet and assist residents, visitors, and staff with a warm and professional demeanor

  • Manage phone calls, emails, and correspondence

  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars

  • Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record-keeping

  • Provide information and support to residents and their families

  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations

 

What You'll Need  

  • Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role preferred

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software

  • Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment

  • Compassionate and understanding approach to working with individuals with mental health conditions
